The Race currently sits at number 23 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop charts, a remarkable feat for the young rapper who’s roots are in Arlington. In hip-hop, once an artist lands himself in jail, they’re looked at as some sort of hood martyr. One thing’s for sure and two things are for certain, facing the charges he’s up against and doing time could be the best thing to happen to the young rapper’s career.

The accounts that I do follow are of course, animal accounts. I do not have a twitter account, and I rarely follow people on Instagram that are not people who I know personally. Other shows I enjoy are Law and Order SVU, White Collar, That 70’s Show, Homeland, Fringe, and the Following. I have just recently dabbled in watching television shows from their pilot episode, only to binge watch them until 5 seasons are over and you have to wait for the next season to come out. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, the Shawshank Redemption, any Disney or Pixar animated film, Eat Pray Love, and the Princess Bride are just a few of my top rated film choices. I have three songs that I really appreciate and would possibly consider calling them my favorite songs. Currently I am listening to Bach Pandora because I can only study/work to instrumental music. My favorite Pandora Stations are (in no particular order) Lee Brice, Carrie Underwood, Beauty and the Beast, Eminem, Drake, Beyonce, Lana Del Rey, Adele, Mumford and Sons, Train, the Beatles, Diplo, Zedd, and Regina Spektor. Some other great titles are: To Kill a Mocking Bird, Catcher in the Rye, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Kite Runner, and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Series. Anything Dan Brown: The Da Vinci Code, Inferno, Angels and Demons, The Lost Symbol…anything Dan Brown. So, instead I will list some of my all time favorite books.
